Who is responsible

What is collected
Project request form (on the websites page): your name, email and business name, and, if you give them, your phone number and message. The form also sends the package you clicked on, if any, and, if you arrived from a link I sent, a short label for that link.
Contact form (on the home page): your name, email and message.
Both forms also send the language of the page you were reading, so I can reply in it.
Why, and on what legal basis
To reply to you and, for a project request, to prepare a proposal. For project requests, the legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract (GDPR, Article 6(1)(b)). For the contact form, it is my legitimate interest in replying to messages sent to me (Article 6(1)(f)).
How long it is kept
Requests are kept for 12 months if no project starts, then deleted. If a project starts, they are kept for as long as the contract and accounting law require.
Who receives it
Form submissions are delivered to me by email only; nothing is stored in a database. These processors handle data on my behalf: Resend (email delivery), my email provider, and Cloudflare (hosting and delivery of this site). Resend and Cloudflare are based in the United States; those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Your data is never sold or shared for advertising.
Cookies and storage
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Email me@lorenzomarchisio.me. You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the Belgian Data Protection Authority or the one where you live.
